We will show a new work of Paidia Institute at the show Never AFK at NRW-Forum, Düsseldorf. The show focuses on live streaming practices and is conducted in conjunction with Always On, an event about live streaming and gaming culture.
The work is titled “Paidia Laboratory: feed forward” and consists in an arrangement of unsecured surveillance cameras found on the internet, whose motion is controlling the motion of the camera in the computer game GTA V, which in turn is live-streamed on twitch.
